Jail History and Structure

In 1987, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Union Springs. The justice center houses the Bullock County county sheriff, Union Springs police department offices, and the Bullock County Jail. The Bullock County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Bullock County Jail. Originally, the Bullock County Jail could house approximately 2122 inmates.
