Jail History and Structure

In 1978, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown New Brockton. The justice center houses the Coffee County county sheriff, New Brockton police department offices, and the Coffee County Jail. The Coffee County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Coffee County Jail. Originally, the Coffee County Jail could house approximately 1977 inmates.

Over the years, the Coffee County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Coffee County county.

Juvenile Detention Center
