Jail History and Structure
In 1986, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Fort Valley. The justice center houses the Peach County county sheriff, Fort Valley police department offices, and the Peach County Jail. The Peach County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Peach County Jail. Originally, the Peach County Jail could house approximately 2340 inmates.
