Jail History and Structure

In 1987, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Wabash. The justice center houses the Wabash County county sheriff, Wabash police department offices, and the Wabash County Jail. The Wabash County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Wabash County Jail. Originally, the Wabash County Jail could house approximately 2315 inmates.
