Jail History and Structure

In 1983, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Clarion. The justice center houses the Wright County county sheriff, Clarion police department offices, and the Wright County Jail. The Wright County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Wright County Jail. Originally, the Wright County Jail could house approximately 1423 inmates.

Over the years, the Wright County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Wright County county.

Juvenile Detention Center
