Jail History and Structure

In 1988, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Ivanhoe. The justice center houses the Lincoln County county sheriff, Ivanhoe police department offices, and the Lincoln County Jail. The Lincoln County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Lincoln County Jail. Originally, the Lincoln County Jail could house approximately 1946 inmates.

Over the years, the Lincoln County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Lincoln County county.

Juvenile Detention Center
