Jail History and Structure

In 1978, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Livingston. The justice center houses the Park County county sheriff, Livingston police department offices, and the Park County Jail. The Park County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Park County Jail. Originally, the Park County Jail could house approximately 2307 inmates.

Over the years, the Park County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Park County county.
