Jail History and Structure

In 1986, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Hollis. The justice center houses the Harmon County county sheriff, Hollis police department offices, and the Harmon County Jail. The Harmon County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Harmon County Jail. Originally, the Harmon County Jail could house approximately 1479 inmates.
