Jail History and Structure
In 1988, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Oregon City. The justice center houses the Clackamas County county sheriff, Oregon City police department offices, and the Clackamas County Jail. The Clackamas County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Clackamas County Jail. Originally, the Clackamas County Jail could house approximately 1553 inmates.
