Jail History and Structure

In 1983, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Lebanon. The justice center houses the Wilson County county sheriff, Lebanon police department offices, and the Wilson County Workhouse. The Wilson County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Wilson County Workhouse. Originally, the Wilson County Workhouse could house approximately 2343 inmates.
