Jail History and Structure

In 1979, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Heber City. The justice center houses the Wasatch County county sheriff, Heber City police department offices, and the Wasatch County Jail. The Wasatch County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Wasatch County Jail. Originally, the Wasatch County Jail could house approximately 2409 inmates.

Over the years, the Wasatch County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Wasatch County county.

Juvenile Detention Center
