Jail History and Structure

In 1979, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Lebanon. The justice center houses the Russell County county sheriff, Lebanon police department offices, and the Russell County Jail. The Russell County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Russell County Jail. Originally, the Russell County Jail could house approximately 2102 inmates.

Over the years, the Russell County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Russell County county.

Juvenile Detention Center
