Jail History and Structure

In 1983, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Fowler. The justice center houses the Benton County county sheriff, Fowler police department offices, and the Benton County Jail. The Benton County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Benton County Jail. Originally, the Benton County Jail could house approximately 1913 inmates.
