Jail History and Structure

In 1978, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Williamsport. The justice center houses the Warren County county sheriff, Williamsport police department offices, and the Warren County Jail. The Warren County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Warren County Jail. Originally, the Warren County Jail could house approximately 2088 inmates.

Over the years, the Warren County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Warren County county.
