Jail History and Structure

In 1988, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Beaver City. The justice center houses the Furnas County county sheriff, Beaver City police department offices, and the Furnas County Jail. The Furnas County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Furnas County Jail. Originally, the Furnas County Jail could house approximately 1895 inmates.
