Jail History and Structure

In 1982, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Bowman. The justice center houses the Bowman County county sheriff, Bowman police department offices, and the Bowman County Jail. The Bowman County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Bowman County Jail. Originally, the Bowman County Jail could house approximately 1815 inmates.
