Jail History and Structure

In 1990, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Bryan. The justice center houses the Williams County county sheriff, Bryan police department offices, and the Williams County Jail. The Williams County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Williams County Jail. Originally, the Williams County Jail could house approximately 2165 inmates.

Over the years, the Williams County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Williams County county.
