Jail History and Structure

In 1978, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Upper Sandusky. The justice center houses the Wyandot County county sheriff, Upper Sandusky police department offices, and the Wyandot County Jail. The Wyandot County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Wyandot County Jail. Originally, the Wyandot County Jail could house approximately 1870 inmates.
