Jail History and Structure

In 1987, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Gold Beach. The justice center houses the Curry County county sheriff, Gold Beach police department offices, and the Curry County Jail. The Curry County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Curry County Jail. Originally, the Curry County Jail could house approximately 1897 inmates.
