Jail History and Structure

In 1983, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Mc Intosh. The justice center houses the Corson County county sheriff, Mc Intosh police department offices, and the Corson County Jail. The Corson County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Corson County Jail. Originally, the Corson County Jail could house approximately 2419 inmates.

Over the years, the Corson County Jail has undergone numerous modifications and eventually became one of the largest facilities in the Corson County county.
