Jail History and Structure

In 1976, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Farwell. The justice center houses the Parmer County county sheriff, Farwell police department offices, and the Parmer County Jail. The Parmer County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Parmer County Jail. Originally, the Parmer County Jail could house approximately 2165 inmates.
