Jail History and Structure

In 1989, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Pecos. The justice center houses the Reeves County county sheriff, Pecos police department offices, and the Reeves County Jail. The Reeves County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Reeves County Jail. Originally, the Reeves County Jail could house approximately 1844 inmates.
