Jail History and Structure

In 1980, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Bowling Green. The justice center houses the Caroline County county sheriff, Bowling Green police department offices, and the Caroline County Jail. The Caroline County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Caroline County Jail. Originally, the Caroline County Jail could house approximately 1937 inmates.
