Jail History and Structure

In 1979, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Bronson. The justice center houses the Levy County county sheriff, Bronson police department offices, and the Levy County Jail. The Levy County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Levy County Jail. Originally, the Levy County Jail could house approximately 2247 inmates.
