Jail History and Structure
In 1978, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Cut Bank. The justice center houses the Glacier County county sheriff, Cut Bank police department offices, and the Glacier County Jail. The Glacier County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Glacier County Jail. Originally, the Glacier County Jail could house approximately 2290 inmates.
