Jail History and Structure

In 1990, a criminal justice center was constructed in downtown Durand. The justice center houses the Pepin County county sheriff, Durand police department offices, and the Pepin County Jail. The Pepin County county sheriff is the general overseer of the Pepin County Jail. Originally, the Pepin County Jail could house approximately 2450 inmates.
